Many visitors have asked why our Motel is called the Ten Dollar Town Motel, possibly hoping it is because we charge $10 for a room!! The real reason is that our beautiful Gulgong used to be featured on the $10 note along side Henry Lawson as pictured here. Our Motel is located right in the middle of town so it only seemed right we named the Motel in celebration of this. You can read more about the history of our town on our blog here.

Centrally located, the Ten Dollar Town Motel boasts 39 well equipped rooms, offering a relaxed night's sleep each and every time you say. Set in a lovely courtyard environment, you can enjoy a coffee with other guests, or spend your time relaxing in your room with air conditioning, a fridge and TV in every room. We also offer all our guests WIFI access during their stay.

In addition to the Motel, we also have the deliciously yummy breakfasts and dinners available at our restaurant, Phoebe's. You can enjoy a light meal or a three course meal every night, with a variety of options for every budget. We can also offer a range of breakfast choices for you to start off your day, and if you are an early riser or need to hit the road early, we can also offer breakfast delivered to your room.
